description:
In the May 18 Cooker, if you go to Preferences -> Mail -> Notifications and
request either the system sound or a custom .wav file, it does not have any
effect. This is in GNOME, with sound enabled, and sounds work fine from other
GNOME apps.
This is probably caused in some way by however Mozilla isinteracting with the
sound system, because the Preview button in the Notifications dialog doesn't
work either, and neither does an attempt to set a sound to be played when a
Popup window is suppressed.
