Not really. You're scaling from 800x600 (that's what 788 is) on a 1024x768 LCD. LCDs are really rather poor at scaling to anything other than integer multiples of their native resolution, so 800x600 on a 1024x768 display will generally look rather dodgy. If you change to vga=791, for 1024x768, it'll look much better. -- adamw
