That's right, Linux does not start with Redhat, Knoppix (even if I'll try soon
the latest version (2003-09-05), maybe it could start, I'll say that as soon as
possible).
The problem occurs on K7VMM and DFI AD77 mainboards.
I tried with noapic acpi=off mem=nopentium : same problem ("ESR value before
enabling vector: 00000002").

distro will boot your machine).
How can I do that ? Slackware-live boots without any problem, but I don't know
what is dmesg, if it is what is being written when Linux is booting, it is too
fast to write on paper what is displayed (Pause key doesn't work...).

I can install Mandrake 8.2 fine. The 9.0 release has this problem. The 9.1
RC1 has this problem.
