I installed RC2, and tried the new updated packages option at the end of the installation. It did not ask me anything, and just went on to "mission completed"...
I think there may be 2 problems here: one is that there is no test for whethere there ae updates, and second that there possibly is nothing that we can test on, no test packages to see if this works. I have earlier written that I think it wuld be good if normal users already at installation time would be able to set up updating, and thus it is important that it works. It did not work in some instances in mdk 9.1 (read: I never got it to work...) I would like if there was at least a dummy package for upgrading, maybe just a new version indicating that the installation has done this . best regards Keld
