or i might have added a 3rd one -> libk3b_0.10cvs1-plugin-devel

didn't the plugin package required the libk3b_0.10xx-pligun package ?
i think i set the dependancy

have you checked seting a manual buffer size for cdrecord or cdrdao
(for example 2x or 4x the default settings)
