------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2003-15-09 16:00 ------- Ok, so you'll probably want to know more about the network configuration during installation... I haven't checked it on the console at this point in the installation (will try if I have time). I can tell you what I did though: in all the cases I've installed mandrake I've installed it with a dynamic IP address (dhcp), using expert mode and a single part zero-conf hostname. Now I think about it, I've had some possibly network related problems with e.g. CUPS remote printers (they're not shown), but I've never seen a visible error about the network not being setup correctly during install. To summarize: - if this is network related, there should be some information about the problem presented to the person installing mandrake. This would be a different bug in DrakX right? /Simon -- Configure bugmail: http://qa.mandrakesoft.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is. ------- Reminder: ------- assigned_to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] status: UNCONFIRMED creation_date: description: Since mandrake 9.1 I've not been able to select a mirror for updates at the end of the installation process (even though this step is announced). This used to work in 9.0. This problem is still valid in 9.2rc2
