Well your modem won't be probed by drakconnect.
You should select cable modem, then follow the connection process, dhcp will be
installed if required.
Can you test it against cooker / or at least RC2 please ?

The network configuration wizard does not funcion with the auto detection of
DHCP
When I am telling that I will have a Cable line the program stays mentioning
and recognising that I have a LAN
Even later when the Operating System(mandrake 9.0 rc2)
is functioning I can't change it
So after all I can not go online
