1. Configure a lan connection (use auto and it will find it).  
2. Your IP address will show under lan connections but won't work (can't connect). 
3. Install the DHCPCP rpm. 
4. As root run dhcpcd - (it's stored in / ) 
5. Now you will be able to connect to the internet :-)

The network configuration wizard does not funcion with the auto detection of 
DHCP
When I am telling that I will have a Cable line the program stays mentioning 
and recognising that I have a LAN 
Even later when the Operating System(mandrake 9.0 rc2)
is functioning I can't change it
So after all I can not go online
