No, but a quick translation from old html.
Mozilla is not correct, too.

The code is valid but not correct. The page is only a draft.

For example, the <hr> should be removed from XHTML and replaced in CSS with:
border-bottom:3px #690 solid;

Now it is necessary to identify the differents parts of the screen.

With the XHTML technology, the preparation is greater, but after, it save a 
large amount of time.

The best is XML/XSL but browsers are not yet able to use it. As we have not to 
produce anything else than HTML, it is not the best choice now. 
A future conversion from XHTML to XML will be very easy if needed.
