When trying to convert the pdf mentioned in the URL to ps with pdftops, gs
starts eating a lot of CPU time for several minutes, and outputs a ps file of 91
MB. When opening this file with gv, the file seems to be invalid: gv says it
contains only 6 pages instead of 22, the pages are empty, and in the gs messages
window the following error appears:

Converting this file with pdftops from Debian woody gives a 36 MB ps file, which
can be viewed without problems with gv.
