Reporter, could you try : -forcing update of evolution to new 1.4.5-1mdk which are on web server. I'm told that the window 'evolution' is not responding, and I choose to force it to exit. If you do this evolution will show up as sleeping in the task manager and you can't start another instance of evolution before you have killed the rest of what's left of the old.
