Actually, I think it was named the GNU Image Manipulation Program, which is why it is often referred to as "The Gimp" instead of just Gimp. And since it is an acronym, it probably should be "The GIMP" -- /g "Outside of a dog, a man's best friend is a book, inside a dog it's too dark to read" -Groucho Marx
