we alreadyu provide modutils-2.3.11 which is the latest availlable
and there is nothing common between modutils and KNI. Do you speak
of binutils ?

as for, gcc, there is no more problem to build lk2.4 with gcc-2.95.x.
For gcc-2.96, the latest patches are needed because builtins are
differently used. And the odds are high there are still problems...
