I've also seen "alot" in reputable Yankee publications. Wrong is wrong, no matter how many times you repeat it. (-: Another common misunderstanding is "the exception which proves the rule". "Proves" used to mean "breaks" as in destroys. To prove your case was to break your opponent's case. Cheers; Leon
