Probably either in the docs or in the install script, we need especially
to ensure any legacy mail spool files are switched to the proper group
permissions; I have not investigated closely, so maybe I am totally
wrong, but is it true that postfix wants all mail spool files to be
gid=mail and group-writable? We had a glitch here that appears to have
been solved by manually changing the group.
The other changes could just be added in the comments at the bottom of
the postfix main.cf config file:
# Defer and disable_dns prevent dialup workstations from dialing in
# on every email sent out:
#
#defer_transports = smtp
#disable_dns_lookups = yes
#
# set relay host to your ISP
#relayhost = smtp1.myISPdomain.com
