"Programs" is a top level menu of the gnome menu and it can not be 
removed(well I'm sure it could with some hacking), but anyway... Hence that 
makes it part of the mdk menu system. So when you go to add Multimedia -> 
sound -> whatever it's going under Programs -> Multimedia -> sound -> 
whatever
