Right I don't pretent to know that much about make a distro or anything. But
wouldn't it nice if all of the packages on the mandrake installation disk where
source rmps. Then when you install, the installer would read what your sytem was
and then would commplie the source accourdingly using. This would mean that the
packages would be custom built for each system, and then you would only need to
have one distro version.
