"strictly minimal install" aka basesystem and its dependencies

ncurses: terminfo database -> du -s gives 5MB!
rpm: rpm + rpm2cpio are static -> 1.6MB
groff: many fonts
kernel: 15MB of modules...


So if you see something that could be removed (or split), tell me. If can't
find...
