On top of subjects discussed below, I'd like to have Aureal 3D support.
My ESS Solo 1 sound card works under Linux, but not A3d.
Another key features missing:
TV-Out and Second-monitor Out for my ATI Rage Mobility (Mach64) video card.
It has 8MB Video RAM, and it can be splitted as 2x4MB for 2 monitors

| I am trying to gain more acceptance amongst rural and/or remote
| users and businesses with utilizing Linux instead of M$, and the
| possiblity of
| greater ability to use audio/video applications
| and multimedia with Linux would be a great big PLUS.
| The use in communication i.e. video/conferencing
| for small rural areas would be of tremendous benefit and
| also help reduce the isolation and "cabin-fever"
| that some experience in such envioronments. :)
| Heck, I'm still looking for drivers for my old ATI All-in Wonder Pro!?
| M$ runs it fine but since I rarely use that "agent of the Empire"
| I am out of luck.
