Hello...
I was wondering if this is an actual problem, or just conflicting
programs or something...
In the screenshot clip you'll see that I'm running "top" and "gkrellm".
Top shows that I'm using 70MB RAM free, but Gkrellm says that I have
170MB free. I guess I'm not so much concerned about the number
difference, as much as, why isn't Linux more RAM managing? I hate to
say it, but it's almost like Win98 in the instance that if you just
leave X running, or MP3's, you'll be left with a slow system after a day
or two. That's one of the few things that I like about Win2k over
Linux. It just handles RAM better, at least I think.
