Unfortunately, it has been the experience of many of us. Mandrake 7.1 was
SUPER, but 7.2 was released way to early IMO. It needed (needs) many more
months of debugging. Perhaps a 7.3 release will repair it.
I've installed it at least a dozen times, with things never being the same in
the end. From font sizes being wierd to devices not getting properly
detected, it's been frustrating as heck.
I've found that overall your best bet is to do the "monty haul" full expert
install and remove packages later.
