The best thing you can do with that i810 is to take a laser to your motherboard and cut it out. Seriously. There really ought to be some jumper on the mb that will disable it... If not, take the MB back to the shop, the i810 is defective by design. (background: I've been teaching a Linux course on machines IBM PC's... with their beloved i810 chipset.
