I guess, thats's because Mandrake is a little company with not so many employees, and they simply don't have time to do this. What Chris did a few weeks ago was his goodwill, and he didn't get paid for that. And Kde2 bugs are not Mandrakes bugs, and they probably don't feel like they should use their resources to make Mandrake 7.2 users happy because of Kde2 bugs.
