No, that's not the problem :-).
Actually, I work on the rewrite of the stage1, and I haven't done the
pcmcia stuff already. The problem is that the old stage1 does not compile
well anymore with newest stuff so we must keep the december build. And the
december build had the kernel-2.2 tied to it.
We'll probably switch to 2.4 once the pcmcia stuff is ready.
