The good news - it looks like it works flawlessly!

The bad news - the package list doesn't match the packages, so the
install bombs.  Normally i'd just make a list and install the missing
ones manually - except the kernel is one of the ones that bombs..
the package list is like -8 and the package on the mirror is -9

btw.. anybody know why ftp.free.fr hasn't updated in ages?
