Let me see, A Lot! (is that a good thing or a bad thing?). Anyway, all I am
saying is that if you get to know about a bug from source "X" (in this case the
list), it would be polite to inform "X" about it been solved, so that "X" could
test the solution (which doesn't really apply in this case, but is very
important in others) and check it out of it's list of found bugs, and move on.
Think about it; what you are saying is like saying you don't have time to mark
a bug as "Closed" or "Solved" in bugzilla.
In fact, the list knowing about the status of a bug report helps you write (or
read) less mails in the list, since if some one comes along and posts the same
bug, any one on the list (since they would know, because of your short reply
;-) ) can immediately answer saying it was already fixed.
