Silly question to answer your silly question - and you're PROBABLY
right, as I don't remember explicitly installing artsd, and don't
think it's installed automatically by KDE, is it? When you
change the parameters, KDE says it's going to re-start artsd.
Wouldn't you expect and error message if it has nothing to restart?
Anyway, loaded a ton of updates this AM, lost my menu, and X is
doing funny things, and after two weeks of updating the updates
to the updates, I think I'm gonna save my e-mail and bomb and
re-load this thing tonight. Will make DARN sure to be sure artsd
package loads, and will let you know.
