Hi,

concerning mandrakesoft bugzilla, i find the system not very responsive
to beta-testers inputs.

I have sent the following message one week ago to
[EMAIL PROTECTED] but did not get an answer.
Since then, i only had one message for one of the bugs I reported for
8.0 RC1.

I would really like to know if it is worth filling in bug forms, or
if it is better to just post to this list.

Hello,

i am bit astonished to learn this morning that Mandrake 8.0 was ready.
I have reported some bugs in your bugzilla system for 8.0RC1
(https://qa.mandrakesoft.com/).
Since then, i have regularly followed their state evolution and saw
nothing changing (they keep being marked as NEW, with no more comment
from
the people the bugs were assigned to).

What should i conclude ?
Either, these bug reports are not considered,
or the BUG states are not reported to the bugzilla web page.
In both cases, this is very frustrating for beta testers.
I have reported some bugs for Mozilla, and the system was much more
rewarding : each new comment and state change from the bug owner
was email-Cc'd to the bug reporter, who knew that the bug did has
been examined.

However, thanks for your work on Mandrake. Great job.
