I use this word because of the fact that with the new driver, wine is unable
to work if I try to play Midi ( err:midi:OSS_MidiInit ioctl on midi info for
device 0 failed ). So I can't play Baldu's Gate II or Diablo II LOD anymore.
So even if they are Opensource, .... this release of the drivers is crap !
We have to say when there is a problem. So it was just concerning this
release of the drivers.
Concerning the others French enterprises, I'm desesparated. The same for
STMicroelectronics ( even if I heard that they were talking about drivers in
the process of development ). None of the big french companies really care of
OpenSource. The only big informatique company, Bull, got so many difficulties
that I think they are not going to be involve in a such hypothetic market
with lower earnings.
It's really a pity.
I don't understand why a big french group still doesn't made the effort to
support Mandreksoft ... It's only what Mandrakesoft lack : a big parrain and
if this parrain could be French or European .... it will be better.
