Much the opposite. The Anglo-Saxon model, while proclaiming human rights, 
certainly does care even more about the profitability of their corporations. 
How Tony Blair made a mockery of the new regulation allowing fathers time off 
for parents by only taking a few days' off is well-known. And the market 
fascination with Alan Greenspan and the NYSE certainly does a lot of harm to 
other economies, especially the so-called emerging markets but even Europe.

However I do not really think this is a subject for Cooker :p
