Lucky you. Could not find any vendor selling Mandrake betas, and since 
downloading one CD takes about 4 days on-and-off, I will have to wait for 8.1 
final to hit the shops. That, or back at the university next month...

8.0 freq3 seems to have broken locale support in glibc :(.
