Had the same problem. Was the result of forgetting to install the
updated libqt2 package. Logged out of X/KDE, upgraded libqt2, re-logged
into X/KDE, all was back.

Hi,
I "successfully" upgraded my LM80 box from 2.2.1 to 2.2.2 using
binaries from cooker, but all the icons disappeared.
All the icons disappeared for me too. I tried the updated -11 or
-13 version, and still the same thing -- all icons disappeared. I
am running 8.1 with some cooker updates, and was upgrading from
2.2.1 to 2.2.2.
Anyone have a solution yet?
