you can probably use libSDL1.2 with raptor, you just need to make a symbolic 
link to it to make it think you also have libSDL1.1  to do this type:

cd /usr/local/lib (or wherever libSDL is installed)
ln -s libSDL-1.2.so.0 libSDL-1.1.so.0
then try raptor
