AFAIK the partition table has not changed. The new stuff is LDM (a kind of LVM). I don't know if anything can be done on such a beast. The positive point is i've never seen it installed by default on winXP. some info about LDM - http://lwn.net/2001/0802/a/dynamic-disks.php3 - http://linux-ntfs.sourceforge.net/ldm/partition.html The partition type tag equivalent to linux LVM (0x8e) is 0x42. fdisk would show it as "SFS". Has anyone seen this yet?
