Now, after a few hours i got this artsmessage from KDE.

Sound Server fatal error:

CPU overload, aborting

Now artsd is gone.

        You don't give enought informations. Is arts running? Are you using 
        devfs? Is your sound card correctly configured? What is your hardware? 
        Have you good rights on /dev/dsp, etc...

    After 1/2 hour as i start atun from Menu and wrote my email, it pop up on my 
desktop.
    Artsd is running but artscontrol does have the same hang and isnt
    working.
    I use a Soundblaster 5.1 with OSS driver.
    Xmms, aviplayer and all other non arts using programms work good.
    I believe im not using devfs(no devfsd running).
    
    I dont know what is the problem. It looks like a timeout or so.
