Ext3 -> ext3 via hd.img (no /mnt/hd after boot), BastilleChooser with
moderate security on a medium security box + NVIDIA.

1)
Still 'device /dev/dsp buzy &c' at launch of KDE. Sound seem to appear at
launch of KDE every second time. I am more and more curious about DCOPS hangs
as a probable cause. Sound intermittent in FlightGear. Had to log out from
KDE to get realplayer streaming audio to function.
2)
DCOPS hangs when logging out from KDE.
3)
unable to launch mcc from both icon and konsole => from strace when searched
for '= -1':
...
a lot like this:
lstat64("/etc/gtk/gtkrc.iso-8859-1", 0xbffff5f0) = -1 ENOENT (No such file or
directory)
and
open("/usr/share/locale/en_GB/LC_MESSAGES/usermode.mo", O_RDONLY) = -1 ENOENT
(No such file or directory)
I thought I was to use 8859-15
