[guran@One09 guran]$ env | grep LANG
LANGUAGE=en_GB:en
LANG=en
[guran@One09 guran]$ env | grep LC_
LC_MESSAGES=en_GB
LC_TIME=en_GB
LC_NUMERIC=en_GB
LC_CTYPE=en_GB
LC_MONETARY=en_GB
LC_COLLATE=en_GB

My question is now, how come on a nearly production ready Mdk it cant find
these files? To my understanding Mdk is loading iso8859-1, KDE thinks that it
is using 8859-15.

Next try to sell to me that it is OK that I have no Euro without fiddling
around.

regards
guran
