But it leaves everyone wondering if *anyone* is working on it. Just a simple ack of the message is all that is needed. Take for example that perhaps one or two people on the list see the bug report and say to theselved "Hey I can fix that" and start hacking on it, and since I don't hear anything back from the list I decide to start hacking away on it to. Now we have 4 or 5 people all working on the same thing. That is a duplication of effort that should be avoided if we can. b. -- Brian J. Murrell
