I tried scannerdrake to install my good old Mustek ScanExpress 6000P. I was very happy when I found it on the list. But after selecting it, I just received the message, that it is currently not supported. As it is not difficult to get this scanner work I want to explain what I did:
modify mustek_pp.conf:
uncomment the Mustek 6000P Section
modify dll.conf:
uncomment mustekpp
start xsane
the only restriction is that you need to start xsane as root but it works
perfectly nice.
