In the beginning, I used Corel WordPerfect 2000 for a while. It was a problem to install, had sluggish performance (drunk on wine) and was unstable. Corel thoughtfully provided a cute stuffed penguin that you could beat when it fell over. Converting to and from MS file formats resulted in the doubling in the size of the file (accumulatively each time). I had to convert because my workplace uses MS Word. Then came StarOffice. Most of my problems are over and WordPerfect is now in the loft. Anyone want it?
