  Oh, another thing worth pointing out hardware wise is that Mandrake 
defaulted to a 70 Hz display setting, while the OEM config in Windows was 60 
Hz. I'm not sure if that would harm an 1024x768 XGA LCD panel or not, but I 
thought it was worth mentioning (I moved it down to 60 Hz just to be safe).
