This is extremely strange, to say the least. As you can see from my e-mail, 
it is indeed running ALSA. I didn't do anything special to the system, it was 
just a normal install on a blank partition.

I'm certainly not complaining. Since ALSA has more features to offer, I'm 
very happy about that, however it would be nice if it did setup OSS-Emu to 
begin with. As I mentioned before, my system was setup with ALSA with 
Mandrake 8.1 too...
