Mine sure is. Emphasis on desperately. High hopes have been pinned on 8.2, but the smbfs decision is going to seriously throw a monkey wrench (spanner for you Brits) into the works. Some of the guys here I can get to install with a bootable CD, but it's a whole other ball of wax to get them to install and then replace things like the kernel. I just don't have the time to train the whole @#$@# IS dept. on kernel updates just to get a stable install. I cannot possibly begin to express how disappointed I am at the decision to not fix smbfs before 8.2. -- Brad Felmey
