Hmmmm.  You could play a trick on rpm.  If you create an empty kde3.sh,
it will still source in properly, and any rpm -Uvh or urpmi on kdebase3
will think you've customized it and install the "new" one as
kde3.sh.rpmnew.  Of course that will only work if the file is not marked
as "replace no matter what" in the spec file.
