I have old Philips CDD-3610. It is known to be not fully compliant and IDE error handling in Linux is far from being perfect. > The tip to use -dao is a good one. I have exactly the same problem with CDs burnt under Windows. DAO is O.K. while TAO gives strange errors. -andrej
