I have no problems with ide-scsi, 2 machines, 4 drives. The tip to use -dao is a good one. When used here it causes the following additional information to be output and gives a good md5sum /dev/scd1 first time. Performing OPC... Sending CUE sheet... (new) Writing pregap for track 1 at -150 (new) Starting new track at sector: 0 Now it begins to look as if cdrecord is the problem. Thanks greatly for that! -- Ron. [au]
