I understand that this is how the Mandrake install is performed.  However,
one of the virtues of using RPM packaging is that one can specify what
packages a package depends on (OK, this part _is_ redundant).  If it is
known that ntp RPM requires basesystem, why not make ntp package aware of
that?  This will surely eliminate questions such as mine here.
