That can be solved more easily (and fix the same issues for even more software) by trying to encourage themes that are compatible between GTK and Qt, or Gnome/KDE. Or are you going to ask the GIMP / Evolution /Gnumeric etc developers to switch to Qt also? If there were say 10 high-quality themes with equivalents for KDE/Gnome/Sawfish/IceWM/Metacity/Enlightenment, and setting one of them allowed you to choose to set the others, then there wouldn't be a problem, would there? If you have run Gnome for any measure of time, you will notice it's quite a bit faster than KDE (and other WMs are even faster), and starting up a Qt (or even worse, KDE) app takes a long time. GTK is probably the best option atm IMHO. | | It would be nice to see MDK in the KDE Control Center too... I did not know | there was a fix for this? http://apps.kde.com/nf/2/info/vid/6427 http://jonsim.kdedevelopers.net/downloads/legacyconfig/ Someone needs to put this into cooker, if not integrate it even better, and have it part of the default KDE RPMs. Buchan P.S. Is there any good reason why your reply-to address is set (while it is the same as your normal address?) It messes up the default operation of 'reply' for this list, which is to reply to cooker. - -- |----------------Registered Linux User #182071-----------------| Buchan Milne Mechanical Engineer, Network Manager Cellphone * Work +27 82 472 2231 * +27 21 8828820x202 Stellenbosch Automotive Engineering http://www.cae.co.za GPG Key http://ranger.dnsalias.com/bgmilne.asc 1024D/60D204A7 2919 E232 5610 A038 87B1 72D6 AC92 BA50 60D2 04A7 -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.0.6 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iD8DBQE89zfCrJK6UGDSBKcRAql8AKCYPOoAjSuJE8oxXYeAEzBn/kYbNACgkEoX Vrxwl6+xCOXvtuBy+5bnAjQ= =N2Rq -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
