My fault, I should have said : after a nautilus -q (then quit) and
automatic restart of nautilus in gnome-session... And the positions 
(not the icons) are lost. They are all at the same place in top left 
corner of the screen.

Well it's gnome-2.0.0, downloaded and compiled (2 days work) a week and
a half ago
