To see the bug, change your default documents directory (Paths->My
Documents), and restart it, and it will still try
~/openoffice/user/work. But that is not too bad, since you can still
open documents. To see why I HAD to revert to the 8.2-compiled version,
try and set a template directory, and then start a document from a
template (make sure you have one first), and you will see it won't
update the templates, and manually trying to update won't work.

And we have share templates mounted via NFS that I need to use. I guess
I could link my templates directory OO.o uses to that location, and do
the same with "My Documents", but what else is broken. Ok, maybe I
should boot back to 8.2 to do work ...
